The short version: I don't sell your information, I don't share it with advertisers, and I only collect what's genuinely necessary to run this site. The longer version is below.
Health Insights HQ is operated by Doug, an individual publisher based in the United States. You can reach me through the contact page.
Like most websites, this site collects basic technical data automatically when you visit: your browser type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the general geographic region you're visiting from. This is standard web analytics data, collected in aggregate. It tells me which articles are useful and how people find the site. It does not identify you personally.
This site uses basic analytics tools for this purpose. No advertising networks have access to your browsing behavior on this site.
If you enter your email address to receive updates, that address is stored by my email service provider. I use it to send you notifications when I publish new articles or update existing ones. I don't send daily emails, I don't sell subscriber lists, and I don't share your address with third parties for marketing purposes.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email I send.
Some articles on this site contain affiliate links. When you click one of these links, you are leaving Health Insights HQ and visiting a third-party website. That site has its own privacy policy, which governs what information it collects from you.
Affiliate links on this site use an internal redirect path (healthinsightshq.com/recommends/...) before sending you to the destination. This allows me to track which links are used, but does not give me access to any information you provide to the destination site.
I currently work with ClickBank as a payment processor for affiliate transactions. ClickBank's privacy practices are governed by their own policy, available at clickbank.com.
This site may set basic cookies to support analytics and remember preferences. These are functional cookies, not advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to read any content on this site.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
